VC

Vinylene carbonate (VC) is an important additive for electrolyte solutions of anode side Lithium-ion batteries. Besides as a dienophile in Diels-Alder reactions, VC has become a powerful synthon in C−H bond activation/cyclization reactions. VC is also a versatile monomer, can be polymerized itself or with other monomers, used in many areas including cosmetics. This product is a colorless liquid with low viscosity.
